Beautiful Western Australia

While Perth is the Australia’s western gateway to the world, it’s also the doorstep to your true Aussie adventure. Take some time pre and post conference to escape and explore Western Australia.

Coastal havens

With 13,000km of pristine coastline, sandy white beaches and exotic marine life, there’s fun in the sun out west – swim, dive, snorkel, explore!

For an island experience, board a ferry to Rottnest Island, just 25 minutes off the coast. Enjoy the laid back beachside holiday atmosphere, quiet coves and crystal clear waters.

If you want to venture further, visit the pure white sands and pristine turquoise water of Esperance in the state's south.

Outback adventures

Vast clear skies, theatrical landscapes, stunning coastal nature parks, authentic Aboriginal experiences, unique rock formations, red-dust wonders and wildflowers - nature and beauty are all right here.

Kalgoorlie, 600km east of Perth, is the biggest city in the Australian outback, with a vibrant mix of gold rush heritage and modern mining operations. It's also home to the Super Pit - an enormous open cut gold mine so big it can be seen from space.

Explore the ancient gorges of Karijini National Park, take a flight over the curious Bungle Bungle Range or ride a camel along Cable Beach in Broome.

Despite being in the same state, these destinations are as far from Perth as Moscow is from London. You can choose to drive or fly.
